Kajtek is first mate on Pope John Paul II's boat. It was taken this year on Lake Wigry in northeast Poland, near the Lithuanian border. When Pope John Paul II visited this part of Poland in 1999, he took a long cruise on the lake, and the boat has been known as the pope's ever since.
