First Real Snow: Bretton Woods, NH

Posted by Ethan Binns November 24, 2008 09:08 PM

The ski area - which was making snow as fast as possible for a week - got a kiss from Mother Nature on Saturday 11/22/08. Reporting a foot of fresh powder must have made them the toast of the Ski Show…

Great Early Season Skiing = a few trails of manufactured snow + machine grooming + no crowds + a FOOT of powder on top

Reports are that conditions for skiing and riding were still holding up well today. If you got some, job well done.

Best I can tell Bretton Woods was the first “Go!” at real high speed/low consequence powder skiing for the season here in New England.

I hope that there are more soon...

Think Cold Air,
