Sugarloaf, ME gets Tuesday snow!

Posted by Ethan Binns November 25, 2008 07:35 PM

The snow report came via email from Sugarloaf up in Maine. It read that the snow was still falling at a heavy clip around 3:30 pm EST.

The measurement just taken at the top of the SuperQuad was 10 inches!

The forecast up there could bring another 6 inches overnight. It does not look like they are going to see a changeover, should stay ALL Snow.

What some more reasons why the skiing up there tomorrow and Thanksgiving Day will be fantastic…

1. I checked what they had opened today. Six trails, which is not bad at all. Probably more soon. However, the SuperQuad was on lift hold at 1:15 pm and stayed that way. This means there will be serious untracked powder tomorrow with some deep drifting.

2. Turkey Day is supposed to be 30º F and mostly sunny.

3. More snow on Friday is possible.

Go Skiing,
