  1. I skied Black 25 years ago and learnd to ski there. Now we are back up in the valley a lot and I had one of the best days of skiing ever at Black a couple of days before Christmas this year. 1st, its cheap. 2nd it easy ( easy ot get your ticket, easy to park, easy , easy easy) 3rd nice lodge /bar 4. Great views - looking down over jackson is so beautiful with full sun in the afternoon 5. excelletn area for kids to use the j bar - nice pitch to learning area and no skiers will speed by you from behind, the learning area is all by itself and your kids will be safe. I dont like their ski school so much, not that the people were bad but i think they could do a better job ( we had 3 kids there one day and the instructor just took them over towards teh stables and they had to walk up the pitch and then ski down as the other 2 kids were just standing there,

Black is great for a relaxing ski day with the family, you feel like its 1950's all over again at Black
