Sugarbush this March

There is still a lot of skiing left this season in New England. March may have many of you thinking about the golf clubs. Truth be told we are probably going to get hit with at least a couple of major snow events before April is upon us. March is always a busy month full of fun events.

Sugarbush, VT has a full slate planned in the next several weeks. The various mountain peaks that make up the resort have already seen an outstanding 21 feet of snow this season. As of the time of this post the Bush is still operating with 100% of their legendary terrain open.

In fact, there are too many things going on up there in Warren/Waitsfield/Fayston for the S.G. to actually list out, so check this LINK for all the information.

Some highlights = $17 lift tickets at Mount Ellen (North) on St. Patrick's Day & Pond Skimming on Saturday 3/28/09.

Here is one worth checking out: For a great time and ideal Spring skiing = The Dummy Big Air Competition

This annual event features homemade, unmanned objects that go off of an enormous jump. Most do not ride out of the landing – think Crashes! The judging is harsh.

Some of the criteria competitors are subject to…
• Big Air
• Creativity
• Landing
• Most importantly - Spectator approval

Entries must adhere to the following: No dummy over 100 pounds, no stuffing with candy, no propulsion and no pyrotechnics of any kind. If you're not certain, please call the resort with questions.

Head up to Sugarbush and have some fun this March.

Think Snow,
S.G.
