Ski blogger Sam Lozier is spending a chunk of this winter in Kashmir, India at Gulmarg.

In addition to Baba Rishi and Tangmarg, there is one other town down the valley from Gulmarg that it is also possible to ski to. Drang (say “Drung”), lies somewhat to the south of Tangmarg and is easily skied to from many higher alpine locations near Gulmarg. With fog and wind, once again, blocking access to the higher alpine terrain, Allen, Wes and I decided to head out for a run down Drang.
