Hey skiers, Bretton Woods is inviting you to play hooky the day before Halloween, with free skiing and riding today, top to bottom on the Range View trail off the Zephyr high-speed quad lift. How's that for a pre-Halloween treat? No tricks, except that this is today only October 30, 9am- 4pm.
Bretton Woods is New Hampshire's largest ski resort, and first in New Hampshire to open this season, following Vermont's Killington and Maine's Sunday River who opened to the public Saturday, Oct 26. Killington has remained opened this midweek.
Bretton Woods will celebrate its 40th anniversary this year, the New Hampshire resort has invested $1.15 million in snowmaking, and is offering a mile of advanced ski terrain on 1,000' vertical today. Bretton Woods will be closed Halloween day until colder snowmaking weather resumes, predicted early next week.
So ski free today while you can because tonight we will be celebrating the Red Sox World Series win, right?! Keep the faith and enjoy your first tracks!
