US Olympics Uniforms.jpgAs the Sochi 2014 Winter Games draw near, there is much concern over security, and still a few remaining questions over who will fill US Olympic Team slots. So this may not be the appropriate time to express concern over US competitor fashion do's and don'ts. The Ralph Lauren-designed uniforms just revealed do raise concern for me though. What do you think of the U.S. Olympic Team uniforms to be flaunted at the opening ceremony in Sochi on Feb. 7? Does anyone else think our US athletes might be targeted by fashion police? I usually like and respect Ralph Lauren's preppy Polo wear, but something about this patchwork sweater get up doesn't scream "Team USA is here to represent, compete and win."

The U.S. uniforms for the 2012 Summer Olympics held in London (picture below) were also designed by Ralph Lauren and brought controversy because they were made in China. Ralph Lauren Polo insists this year's uniforms are made in the USA, so there is that to be proud of... perhaps.ralph_lauren_olympic_uniforms2012.jpg
