Valentine's Day is one of those days when you're either happily in love with a skier, or simply content to spend the day with your other love - the mountain. Seven years ago, of course, everybody fell in love with the legendary Valentine's Day storm, and while this week's Nor'easter likely won't reach snow totals of those levels, it's going to be a nice powder day on Friday, leading into the long weekend.
As usual, a lot of resorts have some sweetheart deals for Valentine's Day.
At Mount Snow, two people can ski or ride for only $49. Couples are also invited to renew their vows at the summit.
Bromley Mountain is also offering a 2-for-1 deal, but only by printing this e-coupon in advance. The same goes for Ragged Mountain's $14 lift tickets, which can be purchased here. The e-coupon also applied to Mount Cranmore, which is 2-for-1 as well.
Mad River Glen will host its annual Valentine's Day special. Kiss in the ticket booth and ski for only $14. Magic Mountain is looking to spark some magic on its own. Any guests who kiss in the ticket booth Friday will ski for half-price.
In Jackson, N.H., Black Mountain will hold its annual chairlift speed dating event on Saturday. It may be one day you appreciate the ski area's old-time liftsﾅ.or, wish they'd speed up.
