2. Zipride through the New Hampshire treetops
Though it's open yearround, Wildcat Mountain's Ziprider really attracts a crowd during the summer months, when the journey is accompanied by a cool mountain breeze in the face of Tuckerman Ravine, where it seems the snow just melted. The memory of winter lingers here, which might take your mind off the 90-degree temperature, or at least the 45 miles per hour you're barreling toward the trees.
