Fill 'er up

With its old-timey feel and a selection of candy that will wow any kid (and the kid in all of us), the Green Harbor General Store in Marshfield just might be the sweetest little shop on the South Shore. Stop for a sub and eat outside on the bistro tables. Or just rediscover Bit-O-Honey and other old favorites. If, on your way to the beach, you realize you’ve forgotten a pail and shovel or T-shirt to cover yesterday’s burn, you can grab those here as well. 40 Marginal St., Marshfield, 781-837-3995
