According to a report in the Globe , average round-trip flights from Boston to Indianapolis are currently averaging just over $1,000 for a departure on Feb. 3 and a return on Feb. 6. A quick Orbitz search revealed that the lowest price for a Saturday departure was $849, while a Thursday departure carried a low cost of $896. A Friday-Monday itinerary would run about $782 on Southwest Airlines (prices subject to change, of course).
