How to get to Indy - and what it will cost
Once in Indy, youre going to need a place to stay. As the Globe points out, there are no vacancies in downtown Indianapolis, but you can find a hotel room in a 15-mile or 30-mile radius for $150 (normally $85). An Orbitz search reveals the following options: Knights Inn ($725 per night), the Super 8 Martinsville (24.2 miles south of downtown, $189 per night), Comfort Inn and Suites (17.8 miles from downtown, $550 per night), and a Motel 6 (12.9 miles from downtown, $405 per night). Not exactly the Park Plaza.
