Water cascades into pools at the Falls of Lana. The camera has an automatic shutter that tends to be pretty accurate under most conditions. The water was a lot brighter than the background and the subject. The phone camera exposed for the bright water and I was still able to pull the details from the subject and background in Photoshop by selectively dodging the darker areas and lightening the overall photo. I held the cellphone camera low and braced it on a rock while I was crouching down.
