Sometimes we walk by potential photos without taking the time to stop and record an image. This is a cellphone photo of two wagon wheels that were framed vertically by holding the cellphone camera sideways inside a barn at the Fool on the Hill Farm. It's both stark and simple, and easy to pass by without wondering what a photo would look like of it. The light was flat and coming from the left side of the open barn door so it added a nice contrast for the wooden wheel spokes against the rough-swan wood wall. This is the same result I would have gotten from my work camera. The focal length of the lens in the BlackBerry cellphone camera is about 20mm, which means almost everything will be in focus in bright light from a foot to infinity. I crouched low to the floor and held the phone about a foot in front of me and 5 feet away from the wheels.
