Hagia Sophia, Turkey
Serving as "the mother church for all Eastern Christians of the Byzantine liturgical tradition both Orthodox and Greek Catholic," according to byzantines.com, this magnificent structure, which was not selected, was first built in 360. Since that time, it has been rebuilt as the result of time and mob demolition. It is perhaps most recognizable for its dome, 210 feet off the ground and 110 feet wide.
