The new seven wonders of the world

As the only remaining member of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, it would seem a bit unfair for the pyramids to have to contend for membership in the new seven wonders. After the country raised concerns over this, the New7Wonders Foundation designated the pyramids an Honorary New7Wonders Candidate (meaning, you couldn't vote for it). Voting took place for seven slots, with Giza still holding an honorary eighth position.
