In keeping with the Wild West theme, visitors to Sever's must hunt down the 'wanted Sever.'
Sever's Corn Maze
SHAKOPEE, Minn. Through Oct. 28
Near scenic Canterbury Park is a maze with pony rides, pig races, live music, and a trail that aims to keep you busy for at least a few hours. This year's theme is Sever's Wild West, which means your task is to find the "wanted Sever." It's a new idea for the farm, whose mazes usually take the shape of maps or destinations such as Egypt. Open on weekends. Admission is $10, children 2 and under free.

G&M Farms Cornfield Maze & Pumpkin Patch
LIVERMORE, Calif. Sept. 29-Oct. 31
G&M Farms is probably the only maze that has been featured on the "Late Show With David Letterman." A few years ago, Letterman's pal Biff Henderson was assigned to make his way from one side of the property to the other, and it wasn't easy. This year, after you're done being the Biff in a maze in the shape of the farm's name, shop for fresh produce, pick pumpkins, and ride the cow train. Open daily. Admission is $8, children 6 to 11, $7.
