Inns and hotels across the country are getting ready for Halloween, with events throughout October and beyond.
- Five inns in the Sunapee, N.H., region are offering Halloween events Oct. 24-26.

Things will be milder at the Inn at Danbury, which will celebrate autumn's bounty with a Local Harvest Breakfast & Craft event on Oct. 25. The breakfast will be freshly made from area products, and the handicraft session will draw its inspiration from the season. Rooms begin at $102 with snacks included, with the price for the breakfast/craft session to be announced. That Sunday, a five-course Oktoberfest Wine Dinner will be $69 a person.
