The flag that US hockey goalie Jim Craig held as he celebrated the Olympic gold-medal victory in the 1980 Lake Placid Games had never been displayed before he loaned it to the Sports Museum of America. The museum opened in May in Lower Manhattan and is billed as the first all-sports museum in the country.
