Fill your picnic basket, grab a blanket, and head to Boston’s Hatch Shell on the Esplanade for free Wednesday evening concerts (7-9 p.m., July 17-Aug. 28). The series features the Boston Landmarks Orchestra performing diverse works from Brahms to Cole Porter to music inspired by Latin American song and dance. The final night will be a musical tribute celebrating the 50th anniversary of Martin Luther King Jr.’s “I Have a Dream” speech. As a special feature, the orchestra has commissioned an American Sign Language interpretation, the first time ever that the entire speech is available in ASL.
