A dinosaur roared into Story Land this past weekend.

His name is Rory and he’s at the helm of the brand new “Roar-O-Saurus” rollercoaster created to celebrate the Glen, New Hampshire theme park’s 60th anniversary. The rollercoaster, two years in the making, is the only wooden coaster of its kind in northern New England, according to the park’s website.

The coaster and surrounding area is one big celebration of dinosaurs. Children can also check out the “Dino Dash” Dinosaur race game, a “Dino Dig” play area, and more.

Kids must be at least 42 inches tall to ride with an adult and 48 inches tall to ride alone.

The park opened for the season Saturday.
