Going to NH!
After seeing the resorts/areas around Mount Washington report 10-15 inches of fresh snow on Tuesday morning the Guru’s periscope went up and turned toward the East. The new snowfall pushed the operations at Attitash, Black, Bretton Woods, Cannon, Loon, Pats Peak and Wildcat to 100% of their terrain, or very close.

Most everyone got a little rain on Wednesday, but the back side of the system should deposit significant snows to all as well. Dr. Weather is looking at 3”-7” (some places more) across most of New England before all is said and done tomorrow morning. With white out conditions during periods overnight in the Northern reaches.
Fresh snow after some rain will stick to the slopes. There are definitely some spots of ice and rock to cover up out there due to the high winds that followed last weeks storm. Better yet the forecast is looking up for the next several days with the possibility of some serious snow on Monday (Roemer is going 1-2 feet for NW New England with the best powder being around Quebec).

Think Snow! Keep checking Snow Country to see what your favorite slopes are reporting. After two exceptional weekends of skiing and riding here in the East it looks like Mother Nature and Old Man Winter are getting ready to serve us up another. They owe us, the start was less than desirable, but the Guru is predicting we have turned the corner and are looking at a phenomenal Spring. Which is when most of the biggest and best Events take place, i.e. US Snowboarding Open, Bear Mountain Mogul Challenge and Reggae Fest to mention a few.
