It’s Go Time!
Best Skiing and Riding of the year for New England will be the rule almost everywhere this weekend. Wicked Awesome Conditions! The Snow Storm we have all been waiting for is on! Granted we have seen record-breaking snow in MA this January, but it really does us no good in the cities. This system took a track about 70 miles further North than most meteorologists (and models) were predicting, hence the mountains across VT, NH & ME are getting buried in powder.

I am sitting in the new Internet joint in Killington, Cyber Jerks, which is right above the famous Pizza Jerks. Now you can solve all your pizza emergencies and Internet emergencies in one stop (they also serve beers).

If you still do not have plans to head into the North Country this weekend, MAKE THEM NOW! There are more than likely rooms available at your favorite area, but you may have to dig around a bit and venture off the beaten path. Guru tip - get in touch with the town’s Chamber of Commerce for your planned destination; they will be able to match you up with what you are looking for. I know that Pico still has slope side vacancies at reasonable prices, there will still be fresh powder up there on Saturday morning.
So, here are the Guru’s favorite RSN pics from today. It has been a while since we have had pow shots in the East! Check Snow Country to find out what is happening at your favorite resort.
