Billboards...

Not Legal in Vermont. Only one of the reasons why there is no better place on the planet to ski. The Green Mountain state is genuinely the Guru’s spot. Maybe it is because of the familiarity of the terrain. Or the green tags. Home of Snowboarding? (hardly making the list).

A long, long time ago…Got this real job. It was about skiing. Good exercise for body and soul, especially the eyes. Lots of focusing, on mountain peaks far, far away (all covered with snow). Then one found this gig, no complaints. We had an incredible February. The price was right, now mud season has hit full stride.

I HATE THE RAIN

04/05 season, Guru Firsts:
Heavenly, CA – South Lake Tahoe
Wildcat, NH – Best view period.
Smuggler’s Notch, VT – America’s #1 Family Resort
Wachusett, MA – Only real ghost stories.
Bretton Woods, NH - History made. View image
Pico, VT – Long overdue.
Cannon, NH – Still can’t believe it.

Take a look around. Season pass deals are in full swing for next year.

Heard plane rides out West are still readily available, for all who were on the coverage shift. It’s the Best Skiing in the World, this very day. Get in short term, pre April vacation.

Thank all of you. Hope you took something to the chairlifts from this (even if you ride alone).

Sweating Snowflakes,
S.G.

PS ~ with a little luck (and a new log in) the forum will be up and turning all summer. I will continue to post what crosses my path and encourage you to do the same.
