Skiing on Grass
No quite yet, but getting there hastily. A friend from Jay Peak told me that her basement flooded yesterday. Jim is writing about "detrimental" rains across New England. All is not lost thanks to a huge four weeks of snow from mid Feb – early March.
Or go for a plane ride...
Snowbird 3/26 from RSN

The bases will be able to absorb this hot water from the heavens, especially ones with big snowmaking/grooming operations (Dec flashback). Personally, I am not thrilled about it, at all. We were staring down the best Spring Skiing in seasons. How quickly things will change. The age old result of that torrid affair between Old Man Winter & Mother Nature. She won once more as he retreated...
All is not lost. The Guru is thinking Saturday arrival Sunday night departure from Killington (25th Bear Mountain Challenge). Sunday is going to be excellent for upper level abilities. Next weekend, Reggae Fest is on!
Not buying into the ‘Season Over’ bit.
Much too early...

All of you should thank this gent for the Best Ski Weather all season ~ Roemer:
BOTTOM LINE---Nice spring skiing Wed. and Thurs. and after a soggy Friday and early weekend---there is likely going to be some wet powder around by Sunday and Monday..especially in northern areas of Vermont, New Hampshire and parts of Quebec
Which lift?

Back to the S.G. - The WEST IS GETTING DECKED! Started strongest (some spots...Tahoe) and still in mid winter form, BC is peaking. Some of us are a simple 6 hour flight away form the best skiing of our lives. Others are already there. Hah, better late than never. Check it: Mount Rose Chutes
More Dr. Weather: Another powerful storm banging into Whistler Wed night and Thursday. Temps below 3,500 feet might be in the mid 30's an on the border of rain to snow there, but higher elevations 12-18" over the next few days and especially by Thursday. This storm will continue to bring places like Fernie and the higher elevations of the Bugaboos, Kootneys and Selkirk's great snows with another 1-2 feet by Friday.

YOU. Thinking about golf? Fishing? How about next year? Season Pass Sales for 05/06 have already begun. Get in early (ASC is priced out) and the Farmers Almanac is already speaking of Region 1 Snow. Check out your local, or try a new one.
If you love corn snow, do not hang em up.
