Smugglers’ Notch, VT
“America’s Family Resort” is the common correlation with Smuggs’. But that is not what lured the Guru up to Jeffersonville, VT. I arrived at the area with only one question, “How do you get to the top of Madonna Mountain?”
For years I have been hearing whispers of the goods that are hidden up at the Northern VT area. It seems that Smuggs’ is often overlooked as it sits quietly in the midst of powerhouse neighbors. What I found up there on Wednesday was SHOCKING!

PATTITUDE!
The Ski Guru is going to watch the Patriots tear the wings off of Eagles from VT, NH or ME. No doubt at a Ski Resort. I would suggest that you seriously consider doing the same. I have been hinting to you that ‘Super Bowl Monday’ is a prime vacation day to request for several weeks. It has always been one of the Guru’s favorite three-day skiing holidays.

Here we go folks. The deals are starting to role in as fast as people are breaking their New Years resolutions. This tends to happen during years that lack natural snow. The industry truly (correctly) believes that the majority of you do not think about skiing and riding if you do not see the snow in your own backyards. Enter tons of great deals to entice you to get of the couch and hit the slopes. There will be more to follow in the coming weeks.

The Inn of the Six Mountains
Last night I made the short trek down route 100 VT from the Warren/Waitsfield area to the Killington/Sherburne region. A little more than half way up the access road I made a left into The Inn of the Six Mountains, Killington's number one place to stay.
