World's best presidential suites

Blantyre, Lenox
Tucked inside one of New England's best kept secrets is the Paterson Suite at Blantyre Resort. The 1,042-square-foot presidential suite is named after Blantyre's original owners and still retains the essence of the 19th century era. The suite is adorned by nine shuttered windows, a sitting room with working fireplace, tucked-away work space, two bathrooms (one with a soaking tub and dressing table), and the master bedroom features a king-sized four-poster bed. To add elegance to royalty, in the bathroom is a white wicker commode owned by Marilyn Monroe and Joe DiMaggio.
