Two new roller coasters have opened this summer at Six Flags New England - one wet and one wild. Typhoon is a cutting-edge water coaster powered by "rocker-booster" technology, while Mr. Six's Pandemonium is the first-ever coaster inspired by the fun-loving dance moves of Six Flags' popular ambassador.

Typhoon blasts three-person rafts through a serpentine series of high bank turns, enclosed tunnels and uphill climbs at racing speeds. It includes higher and faster uphill sections than any existing water coaster in the country.

Mr. Six's Pandemonium seats four people face-to-face in individual cars for a quarter-mile ride. The coaster spins like a top while moving up and down through hairpin turns and plummeting spirals.
