Berklee College of Music alumni score 10 Emmy nominations

Eight Berklee College of Music alumni have been nominated for ten Primetime Emmy Awards by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.

The nominees were recognized for their outstanding contributions to television productions including Arrested Development, Breaking Bad, and American Idol. 

The Berklee alumni nominated for Emmy Awards are: 

Outstanding Music Composition For A Series (Original Dramatic Score)

Outstanding Music Direction
Rob Mathes ‘84, Music Director – The Kennedy Center Honors

Outstanding Sound Editing For A Series
Jason Tregoe Newman ‘99, Music Editor – Breaking Bad, “Dead Freight”
George Haddad ‘93, Sound Editor – Nikita, “Aftermath”

Outstanding Sound Editing For A Miniseries, Movie Or A Special
Daniel Colman ‘95, Supervising Sound Editor – Battlestar Galactica: Blood & Chrome

Outstanding Sound Mixing For A Miniseries Or A Movie
Daniel Colman ‘95, Re-Recording Mixer – Battlestar Galactica: Blood & Chrome

Outstanding Sound Mixing For A Variety Series Or Special

The 65th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards will be held on September 22nd and broadcast on CBS at 8:00 p.m.
