Emerson student Daniel Chamberlain, a sophomore film major, made this video after the Boston Marathon explosions. In his own words, here is an edited email from him describing why he made the video:

"I made as a tribute to those affected by the tragedy at the Boston Marathon yesterday, I really didn't think much of it while I was shooting the video. Originally, I was planning in incorporating the shots I got into a music video for an artist somewhere down the road, but when I heard about the bombings about 20 minutes after I had left the finish line, I was absolutely dumbfounded by the fact that I was right here less than an hour before that and knew I had to make something out of all the footage I got. . . . I wanted to be as honest as possible with the images I included and simply represent what I saw on that day before the explosion happened and let people see the beauty in an event the Boston Marathon when violence and hatred aren't involved.''
