Tufts ranks high in Peace Corp participation

Tufts University has been ranked among the most-involved schools in the country in Peace Corps work, according to an announcement from the school.

Tufts ranked 15th on Peace Corps? list of top medium-size schools this year. The Peace Corps annually ranks its most involved colleges; Tufts also came in at 15 last year.

The top school in the medium-size class this year was Western Washington University. Tufts was ranked one spot below the University of New Hampshire, and one spot above Montana State University.

A total of 26 undergraduate alumni from Tufts University serving overseas in the Peace Corps, the announcement said. In all, 528 Tufts grads have served in the corps since it was established in 1961.
