Wellesley College will hold a vigil to commemorate the victims of the Boston Marathon blast on campus that is open to the public on Wednesday afternoon, according to college officials.
The vigil will take place at 12:30 p.m. at the Houghton Chapel on campus, said Anne Yu, a college spokeswoman.
The vigil will feature reflections, poems, and prayers shared by members of the school’s Office of Religious and Spiritual Life, and the Multifaith Student Council.
According to an advisory from the college’s president, Kim Bottomly, various Wellesley College community members were either running or taking part in the marathon, but the college is not aware of any of them sustaining injuries.
