« Starting at $25,000... | Main | Let's hear it for school bus drivers » Wednesday, April 11, 2007Worth passing alongI'm passing along an email from Stacey Tardif in response to my post yesterday about sister Janice on "The Sopranos." Thanks, Stacey, and thanks to all of you who are reacting to blog items. I obviously can't publish all your comments or even always respond to them, but please know that I do appreciate them. And I promise never to publish anything without checking with you first. "Oh boy, that very short blog post really hit home with me. After I watched the season premiere, I saw myself in that scene at the lake with Janice and her daughter, and I felt like a heel. I've been losing my temper with my 3 ½ year old and yelling at her all too frequently lately. I used to be very good at removing myself from the situation and counting to 10 to regain my composure, but lately I've just been flying off the handle. Since seeing that episode and what it really looks like to yell at such a small child, I've been able to get back to keeping my temper in check. Who would have thought you could learn a parenting lesson from Janice!" Posted by Barbara Meltz at 12:11 PM
