« All things breastfeeding | Main | What does your child know about AIDS? » Tuesday, July 31, 2007Synchronized what?
Synchronized breastfeeding? Excuse me? Yep, you read that right. You might even be able to participate. Sorry, I don't mean to sound tongue-in-check. Synchronized breastfeeding is indeed part of World Breastfeeding Week which begins tomorrow. The idea is to promote breastfeeding. OK, and to break a Guiness World Record. Here's how it works: on August 8 at various locations around the world, but at 10 am in each time zone, women will gather to, well, breastfeed en masse. Is this for real? Seems so although so far there doesn't appear to be a location in Massachusetts. Maybe it's not too late to get a site going? Here are details. Posted by Barbara Meltz at 04:12 PM
