Equinox gym opening
There was no shortage of high heels or hip-hop at the opening of gym-of-the-moment Equinox on Monday night. We dropped by to see what Bostonians wear to the opening of a posh gym.

I think I saw Colonel Sanders's ghost looking for it earlier today. This is from a vintage, mixed with retail store in L.A. called American Rag. They have new things mixed with vintage pieces. This is a vintage piece, and it's reversible. If I wanted to, I could flip it, and it would be purple. How do you describe your personal style? I like to mix it up every day. I wouldn't say I'm a prep every day. I wouldn't say I'm high fashion every day. I like to rotate and keep it fresh. Do you find Boston to be a stylish city? Are you really going to make me answer that? Favorite hangout? Every other Tuesday night in Central Square is a night called Hearthrob at Middlesex Lounge. That's my favorite night. What's the drink you get there? Vodka tonic. Simple and easy. It gets the job done.
