A day before being reunited with her birth parents, Suzanne Berghaus (center) was briefed at the Pro-Busqueda headquarters in El Salvador on the story of how she was kidnapped by the Salvadoran army 24 years ago, and how Pro-Busqueda was able to find her birth family after all these years. Berghaus currently lives in Wilmington, Mass.
