Five Nobel physicists to visit Brown Thursday
THURSDAY, APRIL 12
Brown University will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the BCS theory of superconductivity by hosting a day of talks featuring five Nobel Prize-winning physicists. The panel will discuss superconductivity, its broad scientific uses, and how it’s currently applied to energy transmission, transportation and computing. At 2 p.m. Thursday in Room 101 of the Salomon Center for Teaching on the Main Green of Brown, 69-91 Waterman Street in Providence. Call 401-863-2476.
