Bill Rodgers's running resume is impeccable. He's won the Boston and New York marathons four times each, and continues to run around 25 races each year, according to his website, billrodgers.com. He also oversees the Bill Rodgers Running Center, located in Faneuil Hall.
Rodgers, 59, slowed down long enough this week to give Boston.com readers and runners tips for Monday's 111th Boston Marathon.
"I wish you all good luck," Rodgers said in a phone interview. "Running a marathon is still a rare achievment. And Boston is the best marathon."
