Playful ideas spring from British plantings
A buxom ceramic gargoyle croaches in a steep revine of ferns as though about the pounce upon visitors to the Brookhill Art Hotel's sculpture garden in North Devon. The work shows that outdoor art, when well-sited, can transform the spirit of a garden and suggest naratives.
