I've discovered a website devoted solely (pun intended) to socks. Sockdreams.com is pretty amazing. There are half socks (they only cover the tips of the feet for clogs or slides), OTK (over the knees style) and toe socks (like mittons for the feet, each toe has its own hole). More practically, there are tights with vertical stripes, fishnet hose and some French-cut lace top pantyhose. In total, there are more than 800 styles. And yes, there are socks for men too. My favorite is the daily sock journal called Sock Drawer, where people review different styles. I would never have predicted I would find a sock journal interesting. |
