Condé Nast announced today that August will mark the last issue of Jane magazine. The 10-year-old mag -- geared toward single women in their '20s -- was the brainchild of Jane Pratt, who edited the publication for its first eight years.
I only read Jane occasionally -- pedicure time -- but was usually impressed with its fun tone and refreshing choice in cover girls (a.k.a. Zooey Deschanel as Miss July). |
