Cat suffers severe burns on 60 percent of body
Cat “Bernadette” was dropped off at MSPCA’s Jamaica Plain Adoption Center in March with burns on 60 percent of her body.
The veterinary staff treated Bernadette with pain medicine and antibiotics and, while her fur did not grow back, she began to recover from her burn-related injuries.
Bernadette was adopted following her recuperation.
