Scituate's Inly School, a private Montessori day school for kids around the South Shore, will put on its production of “The Music Man” on March 1, 2, and 3.

The school puts on a musical every year, featuring students, teachers, and even parents alongside professional musicians and singers.

Yet this is no school play, professional costumes, lighting, and sound equipment are emblamatic of the high achievement of the cast and crew, who manage to put on a production exceeding expectations from year to year.

Marion the Libriarian, played by Colleen Quinn, sings a sweet tune while one of her piano students "practices" piano behind her.

Some describe the annual musical as "a family affair," with several reoccuring actors, including Donna Milani Luther, head of School, and members of the school's Board of Trustees.
