Springfield College
Springfield College boasts two commencement speakers for its graduation exercises on May 19.
The first is US Senator Elizabeth Warren, who also will be speaking at Framingham State University. Warren will deliver the address at the undergraduate ceremony at the MassMutual Center in downtown Springfield.
Community leader Marian L. Heard will speak at the graduate ceremony. Heard spent more than 30 years with the United Way, serving as the president and CEO of United Way Boston and the CEO of the United Way of New England. Heard graduated from Springfield College with a master’s degree in 1978.
Warren and Heard will receive honorary doctor of humanics degrees during the commencement exercises.
