Town urged to centralize finances
A report by the state Department of Revenue recommending that Arlington consolidate its financial operations is drawing fire from the towns three-term treasurer, whose elected position would be converted to an appointed job under the proposal.
Hearing on proposal to allow in-law apartments

Chapdelaine to be next Arlington town manager
After receiving 40 applications for Arlingtons town manager job, selectmen voted unanimously Monday night to promote deputy town manager Adam Chapdelaine to the post. Chapdelaine, 32, will assume his new role on Feb. 24, when current Town Manager Brian Sullivan retires. Boston Globe, 2/9/12
