Disposable food containers
Cambridge is exploring the idea of prohibiting the use of polystyrene-based disposable food containers one week after Brookline passed its own ban.
Without any discussion, the council approved a request to draft a law that would be similar to Brookline’s. The idea was considered two years ago. It could be several months before a final vote on banning Styrofoam occurs, officials said.
