Once the college football player of the year, Doug Flutie still savors summertime baseball

Doug Flutie is just one of the boys with the Reading Bulldogs. “It’s pretty cool to think that I’m turning double plays with a Heisman Trophy winner,’’ said Bulldogs shortstop Doug Dellorfon, who played for a Flutie brother, Bill, on Natick’s American Legion team until last year.
