The first Diner en Blanc in Boston was held in August. The location of the event, a fancy color-themed picnic flashmob hybrid, was kept secret to its 700 attendees and entertainers until the last moment.

We spoke with organizers about how they pulled off the secretive event and possible plans for next year.
