Much like the rest of Boston, the city’s Allston and Brighton neighborhoods feature a host of historical sites. But, for some, the longstanding landmarks blend in with the character of the area and go largely unnoticed An old rock that rests along a busy sidewalk in the commercial hub of Allston Village. For decades, thousands have passed the old stone hardly noticing its presence – until recently when the often overlooked rock stumbled into stardom.
